The menu is seafood driven with traditional Japanese cuisine and techniques, with a rotating specials board based on fresh fish and seasonal produce.

167 Sushi Bar is seeking a sushi chef

The sushi station is conducted by 2 team members working on nigiri, sashimi, and maki. The hot kitchen will be in small teams, with team members working grill, fry, and sautée, plating dishes such as bao buns, yaki, tsukune, and kraage.

167 Sushi Bar is open for 12pm for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday.

Closed on Sundays.

Located at 289 East Bay Street, Downtown Charleston.

This position will be a full time hourly position as a sushi roller, expected annual income $50,000 – $65,000

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year, minimum of line cook experience
  • References and background checks required
  • Full availability and flexible schedule
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs

  • Wages are based on position & experience, with a hourly average range of $18 – $30 (pretax) and expected yearly income, $50,000- $65,000.

167’s is hiring for full time server positions. Seeking career driven servers that have the capacity for large busy sections.

 

Servers have a great knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and proper steps of service.  All front of house are responsible to engage with the guests, input orders into a touchscreen POS system, pour wine, clear tables,  clean and reset dining room, as well as deliver dishes to the tables.

Our crew embodies the “One dream, one team” mentality, and will participate in a tip pool. The restaurant relies on the front of house to work as a team, and must have a courteous and professional attitude in the work place.  The company creates a positive and healthy work environment, and 167 hires people who embody this culture.

All 167 locations are open for lunch and dinner, Monday – Saturday. Full availability is required. Closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

167 is hiring server assistant’s for 167 Raw Oyster Bar on King Street and BAR167 Bistro & Lounge on Fulton Street.

 

Open Monday – Saturday 11am – 11pm

Seeking full time and part time

Lunch and dinner shifts.

 

167’s server assistants help the bar areas, the dining room, and the outdoor dining. Ability to run food and deliver plates to guests while able to describe the dishes to the guests. Fill ice trays/buckets, reset tables, and attend to trash, bathrooms, and bus buckets.

Looking for individual that has a positive attitude, take initiative, compose great team work and can demonstrate good judgment, decision making, and problem solving skills. Previous restaurant experience is a plus.

167 are fast paced restaurants, and all employees are expected to be on time and ready to work.

Hourly wage plus portion of the tip pool. Average $20 – $26 an hour (pre tax)

167 Hospitality is seeking line cooks who are familiar with kitchen stations, including garde manger, sauté, grill, and fry.

 

Compensation starts at $20/hour and is based on experience.

 

This position is full time, and has option for over time work, if interested.

 

All locations offer lunch and dinner service shift times

Lunch shift times: 9am – 4:30pm

Dinner shift times: 3:30pm – 11:30pm

 

 

All locations are closed on Sundays.
