This is a summer seasonal position at 167 Hummock Pond Road, Nantucket, Massachusetts.
167 Raw fish market provides fresh fish, butchered in house ranging from swordfish, halibut, tuna, and salmon. We are hiring a full time experienced fish butcher to break down whole fish. Strong knife skills is a must.
Season starts in May and ends in October, but position has flexible start and finish dates.

This is a summer seasonal position at 167 Hummock Pond Road, Nantucket, Massachusetts.
Our prep kitchen is an expansion of 167 fish market and food truck. Food items are prepared and packaged for retail in the 167 Raw fish market, as well as prepped for the 167 Raw food truck service. Our cooks are able to time manage, work with speed, keep a clean work space, and have strong knife skills. Working with our head chef and communicating with the team is essential in our kitchen.

Raw Bar Shucker – NantucketNantucket, MA

167 Raw hosts a raw bar at the local brewery, Cisco Brewers. A vibrant work environment with a fast pace raw bar.
Our shellfish shuckers are the life blood of our establishment. All shuckers must be highly proficient with multi tasking and shucking large volumes of shellfish. Clean presentation, in conjunction with professional speed, is required. During service, the shucker greets and engages with the guests, and must be able to answers guests’ questions. Our shuckers are responsible for basic food preparation and kitchen help. 167 Raw provides raw bars at our fish market, private events, and the Cisco Brewery. The expectation is to be available for all areas of 167 Raw. The shucker will understand and follow food handling and safety standards.

Food Truck Line Cook – NantucketNantucket, MA

167 Raw is offering a unique cooking opportunity with great financial benefits. 167 Raw, located on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts, has a successful food truck, gourmet fish market, and raw bar. The seasonal operation is hiring cooks from May to October, with flexibility on dates.
Seeking experienced cooks to be familiar with kitchen stations, including garde manger, sauté, grill, and fry. Applicants will have previous experience handling and preparing food according to food safety standards. Our company’s consistency is important, which is driven from the line cooks’ ability to prepare and follow our signature recipes, with the ability to create featured dishes, aligned with our menu style.
Food truck menu consists of tacos, sandwiches, and appetizers. Using a 2 – 3 person line, line cooks are fast paced and multi-taskers.
167’s Food Truck is stationed by our market and prep kitchen with a garden patio adjacent. The food truck does not travel, and works as more of a satellite kitchen.
