167 Sushi Bar is an intimate setting where all staff engages with the guests. The menu is seafood driven with traditional Japanese cuisine and techniques.  Our line cooks will be operating multiple kitchen stations, including garde manger, sauté, grill and fry.  The ability to time manage, while communicating with the team is essential. This is a summer seasonal position a6 167 Hummock Pond Road, Nantucket, Massachusetts.

Our prep kitchen is an expansion of 167 fish market and food truck.  Food items are prepared and packaged for retail in the 167 Raw fish market, as well as prepped for the 167 Raw food truck service.  Our cooks are able to time manage, work with speed, keep a clean work space, and  have strong knife skills.  Working with our head chef and communicating with the team is essential in our kitchen.

This is a summer seasonal position at 167 RAW’s food truck on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts.
167 Raw food truck is an expansion of our fish market, serving fresh tacos, sandwiches, and appetizers. The food truck is parked aside the “Market Garden” picnic area for the summer. Our food truck team prepares the mis en place in our prep kitchen and cooks with the team on grill, fry, and garde manger stations. The ability to time manage, while communicating with the team is essential.
167 Raw offers the opportunity to work with fresh seafood, advance your fish butcher and oyster shucking skills, while working in a positive environment.
Food truck is open May – October (flexible on work time period) 11am to 7pm, Monday – Sunday.
The compensation is very competitive of an hourly rate with gratuity.
Housing is offered in a “Staff House” located on mid island.
