167 Raw is offering a unique cooking opportunity with great financial benefits. 167 Raw, located on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts, has a successful food truck, gourmet fish market, and raw bar. The seasonal operation is hiring cooks from May to October, with flexibility on dates.

Seeking experienced cooks to be familiar with kitchen stations, including garde manger, sauté, grill, and fry. Applicants will have previous experience handling and preparing food according to food safety standards. Our company’s consistency is important, which is driven from the line cooks’ ability to prepare and follow our signature recipes, with the ability to create featured dishes, aligned with our menu style.

Food truck menu consists of tacos, sandwiches, and appetizers. Using a 2 – 3 person line, line cooks are fast paced and multi-taskers.

167’s Food Truck is stationed by our market and prep kitchen with a garden patio adjacent. The food truck does not travel, and works as more of a satellite kitchen.

Requirements

  •  1 year, minimum, of line cook experience
