Summer Seasonal Food Truck Line Cook

This is a summer seasonal position at 167 RAW’s food truck on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts.
167 Raw food truck is an expansion of our fish market, serving fresh tacos, sandwiches, and appetizers. The food truck is parked aside the “Market Garden” picnic area for the summer. Our food truck team prepares the mis en place in our prep kitchen and cooks with the team on grill, fry, and garde manger stations. The ability to time manage, while communicating with the team is essential.
167 Raw offers the opportunity to work with fresh seafood, advance your fish butcher and oyster shucking skills, while working in a positive environment.
Food truck is open May – October (flexible on work time period) 11am to 7pm, Monday – Sunday.
The compensation is very competitive of an hourly rate with gratuity.
Housing is offered in a “Staff House” located on mid island.

Requirements

  • 1 year, minimum, of kitchen experience
  • Full availability and flexible schedule
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, in confined space
  • Able to lift 50+lbs
