167 Raw Oyster Bar’s menu serves seafood, with items of whole fish, caviar, raw bar, crudos, and sandwiches, including out signature lobster roll. 167 butchers whole fish in house, works with local farms for seasonal produce, and acquires high quality ingredients from all over the world.
167 Raw is seeking a sous chef to be well experienced with all kitchen stations, including garde manger, sauté, grill, fry and expeditor. 167 Raw's kitchen consists of 4- 5 cooks per service, working set stations. The sous chef would be scheduled for expo, a line station, or prep, with an emphasis on service shifts.
This is a leadership position, as 167's sous chefs are overseeing the team's skills and quality of work. Proper communication to the team on improvements and corrective actions for the kitchen is imperative in this position. The ability to employee manage and communicate is heavily expected.
The sous chef works with the head chef in aiding on menu development. 167 gives the opportunity for chefs to find creative outlets in the culinary world with featured dishes and seasonal menu changes.

Job Details
- Oversee staff arrivals, uniforms, and stations

167 Hospitality has a position open on our raw bar for a proficient shellfish shucker at 167 Raw Oyster Bar and BAR167 Bistro & Lounge.
167 has a strong reputation for the best oysters and raw bar, which includes our staff. Our shellfish shuckers are the lifeblood of our establishment and hold the standard for proper shucking methods.
All shuckers must be highly proficient with multi-tasking and shucking large volumes of shellfish. Clean presentation, in conjunction with professional speed, is required. During service, the shucker greets and engages with the guests, and must be able to answer guests' questions. Our shuckers are responsible for basic food preparation and kitchen help to aid in raw bar mis en place.

167’s maitre d’s are the first glance into the restaurants, and BAR167’s staff showcase genuine hospitality. The maitre d' starts the guest experience off with a positive presence that matches the restaurant’s style. Engaging with the guests, displaying confidence, and being prepared to seat are key attributes for the maitre d' position.
Previous experience as a host or maitre d’ is required. 167 works with RESY as a guest book and table assignment, previous experience with RESY is a plus.
With a mix of reservations and walk-ins, the maitre d' is able to organize the seating to ensure maximizing the tables. Strategizing and making adjustments to the seating during service is the key to the maximizing of the dining room. The maitre d' communicates the table needs to the team and sets the flow of the seating.
This position has flexibility of lunch and dinner shifts, with part time and full time availability.
This position starting wage is $18 an hour.

167’s server assistants help the bar areas, the dining room, and the outdoor dining. Ability to run food and deliver plates to guests while able to describe the dishes to the guests. Fill ice trays/buckets, reset tables, and attend to trash, bathrooms, and bus buckets.
Looking for individual that has a positive attitude, take initiative, compose great team work and can demonstrate good judgment, decision making, and problem solving skills. Previous restaurant experience is a plus.

167 Raw Fish Market is a seafood market that sells gourmet food items, beer, wine and 167 merchandise, Our front of house team works together in all positions. The assigned areas of the fish market change through out the day, and a full understanding of each task is required. Our fish market employees are responsible to cut portions of fish, keep a clean fish case display and store front, ring up retail orders on a touch screen computer system, and basic kitchen preparations. The front of house will engage with the guests, making their experience unique and special with knowledge of all products sold. Seeking experienced cooks to be familiar with kitchen stations, including garde manger, sauté, grill, and fry. Applicants will have previous experience handling and preparing food according to food safety standards. Our company’s consistency is important, which is driven from the line cooks’ ability to prepare and follow our signature recipes, with the ability to create featured dishes, aligned with our menu style.
Food truck menu consists of tacos, sandwiches, and appetizers. Using a 2 – 3 person line, line cooks are fast paced and multi-taskers.
167’s Food Truck is stationed by our market and prep kitchen with a garden patio adjacent. The food truck does not travel, and works as more of a satellite kitchen.
